grooter blogs are weblogs or online journals.  they allow you to actively participate in promoting social change by publishing and sharing your thoughts, ideas, news or anything else you want. 

blogs are flexible & highly effective communication tools that you can customize to fit your needs.   they can be informal posts that you create whenever you feel like or more formal publishings based upon specific topics.  for example, you can create a monthly update on early childhood development trends or you can create an awareness building campaign on public health issues over a 6-month period.   

viewing member blogs: go to the blog page on the main navigation bar where postings are arranged chronologically.  you can view a post by clicking on any title, read, comment, and subscribe to other peoples blogs.

creating your own blog: after logging into grooted.org, click on the 'control panel' link on the main navigation bar.  the control panel dashboard is where you customize and post for both blogs and photo galleries.  in the control panel dashboard, you will be able to establish titles, publish posts, and change various settings.  in addition, you will be able to change the design of your blog with a number of templates to suit your personal tastes.

once you have set up your blog and began posting, you will find that you can be quite creative in what you post, how you present it, and how you reach various audiences.
